SDA member Charlotte Moore has an exhibition coming up:

The Olive Trees are Weeping: Visions of Occupied Palestine through Fiber Art and Photographs
Cambridge Public Library, Central Square Branch
45 Pearl St. Cambridge, MA
February 1- 29, 2020
Opening reception at the library on Thursday, February 6, 6-8:30pm

Charlotte writes:

Over the last few years I have struggled to understand the Israeli/Palestinian conflict that has escalated to war and bloodshed.

I and my friend Eileen Caves will present our work at the Cambridge Public Library, Central Square during the month of February.

Eileen’s photographs document the time she spent volunteering in the Aida Palestinian Refugee Camp in Bethlehem. My series of felt art panels express my dismay over the events that continue to cause terrible suffering among the Palestinian people, as well as fear and anxiety among Israeli Jews.
